CDD was founded in the mid-1960s with the intention of distributing products, especially confectionery, to the Organized Distribution outlets and the first supermarkets that were then springing up. 

Since the early 1990s, CDD has been expanding its product range with references that it imports exclusively for the domestic market.

CDD immediately imports from neighboring European countries and then expands its range to the current more than twenty in the world. With imports also comes a new impetus to address new Customers and new sales channels. 

Because of the experience gained CDD is able to offer a full-range and nationwide service. The beginning of the new millennium sees CDD engaged in establishing important relationships with foreign manufacturers and then also becoming their exclusive distributor for the entire Italian market.

Constantly growing and evolving markets, such as Vending and Air and Rail Catering, were tackled by achieving flattering sales results.

CDD is also a reference point for the distribution of Pet Food products. Thanks to established partnerships with leading Pan-European Pet Food manufacturing plants, CDD ensures a constantly growing and developing product assortment by bringing innovation to the market through the latest technologies.
